SUMMARY:

The Warehouse Shipping/Receiving Clerk’s primary job function is to assist with part and component processing / warehouse operations. This includes identifying, inspecting, picking, sorting and receiving aircraft parts, scanning documentation, and stocking parts. This also includes packaging parts for shipment, processing labels and data input and file documentation accordingly.

Reports To: Materials Control Specialist

Responsibilities & Authorities:

  • Identification of parts, components, and inventory with available resources. 
  • Helps to maintain a clean and organized work environment 
  • Cycle counts and daily count sheets for verification of part number and quantity.  Picks and selects parts from sales orders by location to be prepared by shipping. Receives and inspects parts, verifies and processes documentation, and enters information into company systems. 
  • Ships and processes sales orders through UPS, FedEx, motor freight and other major couriers. Safely operates company equipment including forklift 
  • Completes daily work assignments 
  • Other basic warehouse functions as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Be able to read, write, and speak English clearly. 
  • High School Diploma or GED. 
  • Seeks out and uses technical resources in the appropriate format. 
  • Effectively and proficiently uses computer-based and online software and systems daily.  Must be able to lift and pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds at a time.
