AirCorps Aviation Joins the Aircraft Electronics Association

AirCorps has been accepted by the association that represents nearly 1300 of the world’s organizations that specialize in manufacturing, repair, maintenance, and support of aircraft electrical systems

Bemidji, MN (November 3rd, 2022): AirCorps Aviation announced today that they have become a member of the Aircraft Electronics Association (AEA).

General Manager Erik Hokuf commented that “With our diverse capabilities in fabrication of aircraft structure specifically designed for supporting electronics we saw a natural fit to align ourselves with the AEA.”

In recent years, as the in-flight connectivity market has grown, the opportunity to produce a variety of both machined and formed sheet metal structures to customers has seen steady growth for AirCorps.  To support this growth, AirCorps has continued to invest in additional resources both in manufacturing equipment, quality systems and human resources such as CAD modeling and engineering services.

Founded in 1957, the Aircraft Electronics Association represents nearly 1,300 member companies in more than 40 countries, including approved maintenance organizations specializing in maintenance, repair and installation of aircraft electronics systems in general aviation aircraft. The AEA membership also includes manufacturers of aircraft electronics equipment, instrument repair facilities, instrument manufacturers, airframe manufacturers, test equipment manufacturers, major distributors, engineers and educational institutions.

The AEA’s mission is to educate, communicate, and advocate for aviation businesses around the world that manufacture, support, and install innovative technologies for flight.  More information can be found at https://aea.net/
