Wing hardware is being painted and nearing completion.  Work begins and firewall forward and continues on fuselage hardware.

More work done on the engine mount and the start of fitting cowling pieces.  Also the skins are being riveted on to the tailcone and the frames are assembled for the dog house and other lower end structure.

Here are some photos of where we are with the restoration of the P-51C Lope’s Hope III.  The fuselage structure is coming together very quickly with over a year preparing the project by purchasing and fabricating parts before starting assembly.
